Hands up if you want to visit a Country Fayre bursting to the brim with independent boutique stalls straight out of Instagram, including a champagne bar and woodfired pizza in the walled Garden of Claydon Estate this summer? ME PLEASE! I actually can’t think of a better place to hang out with girlfriends! It sounds perfect!
We are excited to tell you about a brand new and exciting event happening right on our doorsteps this June! The Humble Country Fair is a boutique shopping event for your home and wardrobe where you can meet over 70 independent brands from all over the country. Think beautiful tableware, tweed jackets, plants, bespoke handbags and much much more! If you want to find that one piece that no one has, then this is the place for you!
There’s a demo tent!
Want to learn the art of willow weaving, or nailing the sour dough bread making? Or do you fancy learning how to make perfume or how to arm knit, say what! Throughout both the Friday and the Saturday, the Humble Country team & skilled guests will be running a number of free demos in an open air Demo Tent. And there is still more to be added to the line up!
The Humble Country Fayre is perfect for combining a visit to the adjacent National Trust property, Claydon House, which will be open on the day. For opening times please visit their website here. Claydon House is famed as a favourite retreat of Florence Nightingale, who was a regular guest at the house when visiting her sister, Lady Verney.
