@MK18 Medical Practice is a new private practice providing high quality services to patients in Buckingham and the surrounding areas – and further afield. Founded by Dr Kevin Barnett, who grew up in Buckingham and was a GP Partner in the town for five years, the practice has grown into a well-respected patient-centric healthcare facility.

Dr Barnett is an experienced clinician, having qualified 20 years ago, and currently practices as a Medical Director in London as well as working in urgent care centres and supporting the local Mini and Junior section of Buckingham Rugby Club. Over that period, he has gained experience in treatment of acute illness, chronic disease and injuries – including repairing broken rugby players’ faces!
The practice always adheres to the strictest infection prevention and control principles which has enabled @MK18 to continue practicing safely during the current COVID-19 pandemic. Patients can be assured that the environment ensures the safety of patients visiting the practice.
For those who don’t wish to come to the practice or are self-isolating, @MK18 offers telephone and video consultation with remote prescribing.
In addition to GP consultations, the practice provides a number of services private prescriptions, private referrals for imaging and specialist opinions, medical certificates, well man and well woman medicals, HGV, racing and other medicals, hay-fever injections, minor surgery (removal of lumps and bumps), vaccinations, blood tests and much, more more. We are also currently providing testing for COVID-19; both swab tests for current infection and antibody testing. We are also able to come to employers to provide these services to groups of staff.
GP consultations start from just £50 which includes the cost of issuing a prescription or making a referral.
