Spring has sprung and summer fun is coming at Aylesbury Waterside Theatre
Variety is the spice of Summer over the coming months at Aylesbury Waterside Theatre.
Their newly relaunched Norman Bragg Studio (NBS) is welcoming a host of different events from family shows with Morgan and West’s Unbelievable Science, and DJ Dan Blaze’s Family Party and Nightclub Experience, to music from The George Harrison Project, and comedy with The Navy Lark and their monthly sell-our Comedy Club. NBS also plays host to screenings covering every taste from kids’ favourite Up (in partnership with The Works), Northern Ballet’s Merlin, and the welcome return of their bi-monthly dementia-friendly screenings.
May is going to ROCK with hit musicals not to be missed! We Will Rock You kicks off the month and is good company with Rock of Ages, a hilarious musical comedy featuring more than 25 classic rock anthems. With Footloose in the mix starring Jake Quickenden and Darren Day, musical lovers will be spoilt for choice.
Live music from The Levellers, Flaming Lips and Go West and Paul Young will provide gig nights to remember, as will phenomenal tributes to the Everly Brothers with Walk Right Back, Whitney Queen of the Night and UK Foo Fighters.
Family fun is top of the agenda when The Tiger Who Came To Tea pounces on to the stage in July – a fantastic introduction to theatre for pre-schoolers.
